Project Description

Agenda 2030 released by United Nation is a great way for people to seek guidance among their goals which would in results benefits people on earth.
Good Health and Well-being is one of the spot that United Nation been focuses in, and by my project relate to it, this would become one of the essential building block of a bigger solution in order to improve health by means of improved food consumption environment.
Food temperature is one of the tricky parts that influences most eating method when it comes to food with a warm temperature as its good temperature for consumption.
Warmelo is a considerable solution when it comes to keeping warm dishes away from cold, with a flat surface plate, it can easily put below most dishes, generate heat under them in order to maintain the warm dishes in its good temperature.
Research and experiments
In order to have first-hand information of how people and certain entities interacts in real life saturation, I been using the tool of field studies in order to gather certain information for referencing and part of the guide line for me in order to measure my actions.
Following photos are taken from a cooking studio during a cooking skill event, during the event, as there are 26 people inside the cooking studio, after food items being cooked, the helpers are required to distribute the food, for example after the Fried Eel Dish is ready, it takes about 5 minutes for people to feed their camera first (taking photos), 4 minutes for the first wave of the dish to be distributed to everyone in the room, which when people finally eat the dish, it becomes cold already.
The field tests helps me to solidly my thinking of the needs of such product, and provide me meaningful references for continues development as well.
Experiments are good ways to test out ideas in a scientific manner, in order to find out rather self warming devices and cup warmer would have heating effect on other objects, I have conducted different experiments, one of the temperature test involve a metal container on a cup warmer and a pottery bowl with no heat producing devices.
Design and Development
For the 3D modeling part, I have committed 3D modeling using Fusion360, a software series released by Autodesk, I use minimalist as it's appearance approach, the saucer shape of the current model feature a flat surface on top and low profile.
Appearance demonstration
Rendered Images using 3D based rendering platform is a great tool for visualize ideas and communication.
During the process, I transfer the model into keyshot work space by using the keyshot plugin of Fusion360, which in result have the promising work done and a good time for digging around.
A grace to the further distance
The Warmelo, currently under a conceptual and experiment phase, I would continue my effort into the project which my short term goal is to find out the suitable approach for it to launch into market and helping people in needs.
